Account Executive
We’re looking for a driven Account Executive to help small and medium‑sized businesses connect to the future of communication — through high‑speed fiber internet, hosted voice, and managed business solutions. You’ll own your territory, build relationships with decision‑makers, and help them unlock better performance with our client’s cutting‑edge telecom technology.
What You’ll Do- Achieve and exceed monthly new‑sales goals through effective prospecting, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Build and maintain trusted, long‑term relationships with SMB decision‑makers while promoting a strong brand image in local markets.
- Develop deep expertise in the company’s full service portfolio — high‑speed internet, hosted voice, business TV, security, and video conferencing — and articulate value propositions clearly to customers.
- Generate leads through networking, calls, email outreach, and in‑person prospecting; convert referrals and customer references into new opportunities.
- Use a consultative sales approach to identify business needs, design tailored communication solutions with internal teams, and manage customer engagement from proposal through installation.
- Maintain accurate customer data, timely responses, and professional correspondence in all sales systems and client interactions.
- Stay informed on competitor offerings and market trends to position the company strategically within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate professionalism, organization, teamwork, and consistent attendance while handling administrative and project duties efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college or university.
- Proven ability to develop and manage executive‑level relationships and execute strategic sales processes.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with a solid understanding of the drivers within small to medium‑sized businesses.
- Proven success in B2B sales (telecom or tech preferred).
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
- Working knowledge of internet, TV, and managed/hosted voice service solutions.
