Cables And Kits , a supplier of networking hardware and infrastructure products, is hiring Account Managers in Commerce, GA.
OpportunityJoin our sales team to manage targeted small and medium customer accounts. Expand sales with 300+ active and inactive accounts. Call and convert new business through your proactive outreach. Use your technical product knowledge of Cisco hardware to help customers order products that fit their current hardware. Work collaboratively with our customer support team to ensure customer satisfaction. No travel required to customer sites so your office-based sales activity is maximized for best results.
KeyAccountabilities
- Manage and farm Small/Medium Accounts.
- Call and convert 5% of your 300+ accounts into new business each quarter.
- Service high volume house accounts that regularly purchase from us.
- Help customers build orders. If a purchase order is received, send the P.O. to our customer service team to build the cart on our website to buy it for them, or save it as a quote and email the customer a checkout link.
- Proactively call accounts often. Dig within your accounts to build relationships with people throughout the account.
- Review customer orders to understand what they are purchasing. Use this information to upsell and cross‑sell more products they likely need but are not already purchasing.
- Project manage more complex purchases when inventory isn’t always available or isn’t available exactly as described by the customer.
- Manage blanket purchase orders from customers who purchase in bulk, in advance.
- Maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction while our support team manages our customers’ product and delivery issues.
- For the purchase of Servers, work with our vendor to price or custom spec.
- 2+ years of proven inside sales, account management or business development experience.
- Industry experience selling Cisco hardware, Networking and other hardware is essential.
- Confident to ask appropriate questions to understand customer needs and to recommend the right products.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with customers, vendors and co‑workers.
- Detail‑minded with a commitment to quality, accuracy, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Skilled with searching for detailed technical products and pricing information.
- Computer savvy to effectively quote and process orders with a customer‑oriented mindset.
- Determined, driven and to succeed.
Cables And Kits will reward your shipping talents with a competitive compensation package of $60k‑80k base plus commission. On Target Earnings (OTE) expected to be $80‑100K depending on experience.
