Diningand Retail Services is hiring student employees for flexible, on-campus positions. No experience is necessary. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, cashiering, and dishwashing. Employees must be dependable, follow safety protocols, be able to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, and be available during lunch hours. All duties should be performed in accordance with training and university policies.

Physical requirements:

• Stand for a minimum of 4 hours' time continuously
• Able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly, including reaching outward, upward, and sideways
• Utilize kitchen tools safely, and maneuver throughout a kitchen environment

Duties may include:

• Assist with all phases of food preparation
• Provide customer service in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Maintain sanitation standards and portion control
• Set up and restock serving stations
• Maintain beverage dispensers and replenish condiments
• Stock items using FIFO procedures
• Cash handling and register operation
• Dishwashing
• Other duties as assigned
