The pay range for this position is $48,000 - $60,000 annually. Base pay may vary based on qualifications, experience, and market location. GeneralDescription
In this commission-based role, you will sell new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products and services. You will manage existing customer accounts, develop new accounts, and produce sufficient sales volume to meet assigned objectives. Through training, you will develop product knowledge and educate customers, while reporting market intelligence that impacts business and pricing.
Responsibilities- Actively seek and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers.
- Travel frequently to customer sites to build and maintain relationships.
- Sell company-supported products and services.
- Meet sales goals set by management.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations using a value‑selling approach.
- Attend sales training and continually enhance product knowledge.
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting of tires and wheels, standing, bending, sitting, and squatting.
- Create or increase truck tire sales through a planned program of regular solicitation.
- Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate with the service department.
- Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits.
- Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and proper handling of customer casings.
- Deliver tires to customers as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle required and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Position does not include relocation.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate Degree in a related field.
- Prior commercial B2B sales experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
- Ability to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced environment as part of a team.
- Self‑starter who takes initiative, works independently, and attends training sessions.
