We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a busy construction company. This position will play a key role in financial reporting, reconciliations, and project‑based accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing accounting functions in a fast-paced, transaction‑heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting
  , including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements
  , journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee job costing and project accounting
  , ensuring accurate allocation of materials and labor.
• Support budgeting and cash flow analysis in coordination with management.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and credit departments to ensure accuracy in billing and expense tracking.
• Provide financial data and documentation for audits and tax filings

• Identify process improvements to streamline accounting and reporting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA‑track preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in construction, distribution, or manufacturing

• Strong understanding of job costing
  , inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP software.
• Advanced Excel skills and solid analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully on‑site environment.
