Senior Tax Manager

Not many small East Bay firms do their own international tax. Most send the 5471s and the treaty questions out and hope the client doesn't push. This one keeps it in house, and a senior manager seat here looks nothing like the same title in a 200 person shop.

$159k to $195k in Concord, running a book rather than a slice of one. The client list is real estate, professional services, e commerce and dental practices, so the year keeps changing shape. Nobody's given me days at home on this one, so ask.

• $159k to $195k
• They do their own international tax, 5471s and cross border structuring, rather than referring it out

• Under 25 people. No bench, and the admin a big firm absorbs lands on you instead

• Running tax for a book of company clients and their owners
• Review, planning, and the cross border questions when they come up
• Signing work off rather than waiting for somebody else to
• Advisory on structure and forecasting alongside the compliance

• CPA
• Manager or senior manager experience in public accounting
• Comfortable with international reporting, or keen to own it
