Clayton Valley Charter High School is seeking a dynamic Head Football Coach to lead our championship-minded Ugly Eagles program. We’re looking for a leader who puts students first, develops athletes on and off the field, and builds a positive, competitive culture.

• Lead all levels of the football program
• Develop practice plans, game strategy, and off-season conditioning
• Mentor athletes in academics, sportsmanship, and safety
• Support and supervise assistant coaches
• Communicate effectively with families, athletes, and staff

• Football coaching experience
• Previous high school coaching experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to connect with students and build community
• Must meet CIF and CVCHS coaching clearance requirements
• Credential not required to apply

A teaching position may be available for the selected candidate; however, it is not required for consideration for the coaching role. A credential is not required to apply.

• Current (through the end of the season) First-Aid/CPR/AED Certification
• Completion of the following NFHS courses:
  Fundamentals of Coaching, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussions in Sports
• Knowledge of the sport to be coached and the ability to work with high school students
• Previous high school coaching experience (Preferred)

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation
• Resume
