Required Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
California State licensure as a School Psychologist.
Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling services in an educational setting.
Knowledge of special education laws and procedures.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Description
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify academic, social, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges.
Interpret assessment results to provide recommendations for appropriate interventions.
Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral concerns.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to implement effective interventions.
Respond to and support the school community during crisis situations.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies promoting positive learning environments.
Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), providing input and recommendations for students with special needs.
Stay current with best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development opportunities.
