Senior Electrical Project Engineer​/Manager

Overview

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate to provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects.

• Lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities. Responsibilities include supervision of less experienced staff, and interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines. Prior engineering leadership experience is highly desirable.
• Engage in business development activities such as proposal preparation and fee/scope development. Fill the role of Project Manager for selected Electrical projects.
• Mentor less experienced staff in local offices as a technical resource.
• Assist with instrumentation and control systems as a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs.
• Work knowledge of industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, generator design, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, and equipment layout.
• Maintain good working knowledge of the NEC and related Codes.
• Proficient communication skills, including interactions with clients and contractors.
• AutoCAD experience is a must;
  Revit BIM software and SKM and/or ETAP power systems software are desirable.

• Over 12 years of experience in electrical engineering and design in water/wastewater or other heavy industrial industries.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
