We are looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Concord, CA. In this full-time, in-person role, you will support licensed SLPs by delivering speech therapy services under supervision, assisting students to improve communication and achieve IEP goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech and language therapy interventions following licensed SLP treatment plans
- Assist students in individual and group therapy sessions to develop communication skills
- Collect data, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with SLPs, educators, and families to support student success
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and safe therapeutic environment
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards in service delivery
- Valid California Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Certification
- Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work under clinical supervision
- Experience working with children or in educational settings
- Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Commitment to supporting students with mild to moderate communication needs
