Position: Systems Software Analyst I
Description

We are seeking a contract-to-hire Systems Software Analyst I to join a Platform and Cloud Engineering Team, reporting to Hao Luu.

The position will administer, secure, monitor, and optimize the organization's Microsoft cloud ecosystem while supporting cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities

+ Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and One Drive

+ Design, implement, and maintain Intune device policies, compliance baselines, endpoint security controls, and application deployment strategies

+ Manage identity and access through Entra , including Conditional Access, MFA, PIM/RBAC, identity security, and hybrid identity synchronization

+ Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure resources and services supporting cloud infrastructure

+ Build, maintain, administer, or support Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI

+ Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex incidents across Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, endpoint, and hybrid infrastructure

+ Develop automation using Power Shell, Microsoft Graph API, and related tools

+ Document architecture, configurations, troubleshooting findings, and standard operating procedures

+ Evaluate new Microsoft capabilities and licensing changes and recommend adoption strategies

+ Monitor cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Azure Monitor and other enterprise tools

+ Review alerts, investigate issues, perform troubleshooting, document findings, and escalate complex incidents when appropriate

+ Partner with security, compliance, and other IT teams on governance, audits, and risk mitigation

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution including 30 semester hours in computer science, information processing, or a closely related field

+ Required qualifying systems software and/or applications programming experience

+ 35+ years of hands-on production experience administering Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, and Entra

+ Strong Power Shell scripting skills

+

Experience with Conditional Access, MFA, identity security, RBAC/PIM, and device compliance

+ Experience designing, administering, maintaining, or supporting Power Platform solutions

+ Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across complex cloud and on-premises environments

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to independently explain technical ownership, decisions, troubleshooting steps, and outcomes

+ Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and lead technical initiatives

+ U.S. work authorization

+ Interest in a contract-to-hire opportunity

+ Onsite availability throughout the contract period

+ Compensation expectations aligned with contract and conversion rates

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.75 - $74.71/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
