• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading and unloading of residents and their belongings onto vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles.
• Comply with standards and processes for proper vehicle inspection and driving; demonstrate safe driving while meeting punctuality and safety requirements.
• Act as a member of the activity staff during outings/excursions and while within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience driving a vehicle, van, or bus transporting people.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing face coverings and other PPE to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
