- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and high standards of service delivery.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment by providing ongoing coaching opportunities.
- Uphold a customer-centric approach by ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Address customer concerns and feedback on Yelp & Google Reviews with a focus on resolution.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and related markets.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, financial transactions, and employee activities.
- Prepare regular reports for management regarding shop performance and key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in an auto repair shop.
- Efficient in Digital Visual Inspections and procedures
- Experience with Autoflow or similar platform is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Solid knowledge of automotive systems, repair techniques, and industry standards.
- Understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology or a related field
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Ability to work with tools lifted above head level
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
- Efficiently navigate a computer
