Job OverviewThe Marketing Copywriter develops inspiring, strategic, and deeply on‑brand creative concepts and copy that elevate Innersense’s storytelling across all consumer and professional touchpoints. Responsibilities include delivering high‑quality copy for product launches, GTM campaigns, omnichannel marketing, digital storytelling, email, retail/salon collateral, events, and ongoing initiatives—ensuring excellence, authenticity, and brand voice consistency in every asset.
Key Responsibilities- Develop inspiring, original copy and concepts for a wide range of projects including product marketing, GTM, omnichannel campaigns, digital storytelling, organic and paid social, email, retail/salon collateral, events, and seasonal initiatives.
- Craft compelling narratives for both consumer‑facing and pro‑facing audiences, adapting tone and messaging to channel, intent, and customer mindset.
- Ensure the Innersense brand voice, values, and identity are represented consistently across all channels.
- Translate insights, claims, and strategic direction into clear, compelling, on‑brand messaging and storytelling frameworks.
- Communicate creative concepts and rationale with clarity and confidence while collaborating closely with Marketing, Creative, Product Marketing, Education, Sales, and Digital teams.
- Advocate for strong copy solutions, thoughtfully incorporating feedback to strengthen creative outcomes.
- Maintain awareness of digital, beauty, salon, and sustainability trends to inform content and channel best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines through strong organization, prioritization, and proactive communication.
- Deliver polished, high‑quality copy tailored to each channel, leveraging AI tools as appropriate to support productivity and ideation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4–5+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within prestige beauty; experience in salon or professional haircare strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to craft a wide range of written materials, including campaigns, digital content, social, email, packaging, retail/trade collateral, and more.
- Strong storytelling ability with a refined sense of brand voice and tone.
- Experience delivering copy for both consumer and professional audiences.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to incorporate feedback constructively and champion work with clarity and rationale.
- Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects under tight timelines with excellent organization and prioritization.
- Familiarity with clean beauty, sustainability narratives, or ingredient‑driven storytelling is a plus.
- Comfortable using AI tools to support high‑volume copy creation without compromising craft.
Regular, salaried, full‑time, in‑office position located at the headquarters in Concord, California.
Target Salary Based on ExperienceThe standard range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, plus bonus.
