Job Description: Job Profile Summary
The RN - Manager - Cardiovascular Services shares 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the management and operation of the Cath Lab, Cardiac Nurse Navigators, and the STEMI/ Chest Pain Program at John Muir Health. Supervises staff, including hiring, coaching, counseling, and performance appraisals. Tracks and analyzes financial indicators budget, capital, staffing levels, supply costs, productivity and quality outcomes and addresses opportunities for improvement utilizing process improvement strategies.

Promotes compliance with internal standards and regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Participates in the annual operational planning process. Executes priorities to ensure implementation of operation plan within the work unit or units. Promotes staff accountability and empowerment through formal and informal processes. Accountable for appropriate consistent staffing and scheduling. Role model's collaboration and collegiality cross interdisciplinary teams including physicians. Promotes excellence in customer service.

Education:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing - Required

• Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing - Required

• Master's Degree Accredited School of Nursing - Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years Nursing - Leadership as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Manager - Required

• 3 years Progressive leadership positions in acute care, cardiology, or procedural setting - Preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:

• RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required and

• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required and

• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Required

Pay Range:

$ - $ Salary Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area .

Note:

Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
