Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Cardiology

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Telephone Triage position in a cardiology clinic requiring prior cardiac and ambulatory triage experience with a CA RN license.

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, including prior cardiac and cardiology department experience
• Ambulatory triage or medical office experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and care coordination skills required

• Outpatient cardiology clinic setting providing clinical support to physicians
• Responsible for triaging emergent and non-emergent patient phone calls and messages
• Performs in-office procedures as well as clinical administrative tasks
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• No floating or charge responsibilities required
• Provides clinical support to physicians and healthcare providers to ensure efficient clinic operations and patient satisfaction
• Assesses, plans, delegates, and coordinates patient care activities
• Interprets complex clinical information to guide patients and families through available services
