Registered Veterinary Technician– Emergency

Location: Concord, CA

Compensation: $25–$40/hr (DOE) + $5.50/hr for any hours worked between 6pm & 6am

Full-Time | Swing Shift

SAGE Concord is a premier provider of specialty and emergency veterinary care, offering a wide range of services including Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Imaging, Neurology, and Integrative Medicine. Our Oncology service is set to launch in Fall 2025.

As an Emergency RVT
, you’ll play a vital role in patient care and client service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Triaging emergency patients and supporting clients throughout their visit
• Partnering with DVMs on assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• Collecting and processing laboratory samples (blood, urine, aspirates, etc.)
• Assisting with imaging and advanced patient assessments
• Executing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia and sedation events
• Delivering consistent, high-quality nursing care

You’re a skilled and compassionate veterinary professional who:

• Holds a current and valid CA RVT license and has 2+ years of ER/clinical experience
• Thrives in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Is proficient in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, drug calculations, and patient handling
• Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues
• Values teamwork, continuous learning, and professional growth
