CDJR of Concord is looking for an experienced, hardworking, parts specialist to support our parts and service operations!

Pay Scale

The Parts Counter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00 and $35.00. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interpret the parts catalog.
  • Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, offer specials, and ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Pull purchases from stock. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submits order.
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
  • Verify "will call" and "back order" files weekly and return to vendors, back to stock. Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
  • Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.
  • Order parts not in stock. Notify the customer that ordered parts have been received.
  • Be friendly, professional, and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person.
  • Provide the same high level of service to the other dealership departments as is given to other customers.
  • Keep your work counter area clean and uncluttered and keep current on new products and product updates.
  • Ability to work well with the public and ability to multitask.
  • Participate in all training programs that are made available.
  • Keep a professional personal appearance and have a good attitude
