Ross Stores, Inc. is a leading off‑price retailer with over 2,200 stores across the United States. As an Area Supervisor, you will oversee a specific area of a store, ensuring daily operations run smoothly while maintaining high standards of customer service and brand integrity.

• Ensure a safe and secure environment, maintaining awareness of premises, reporting unsafe conditions, and managing building security procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service, treating all customers, associates, and leaders with respect and professionalism.
• Represent the company brand at all times, maintain a professional appearance, enforce the dress code, and keep all areas clean and merchandised to standard.
• Oversee general merchandising activities, including receiving, processing, and moving merchandise, ensuring compliance with company presentation guidelines and loss prevention standards.
• Execute loss prevention duties such as conducting package inspections, safeguarding confidential information, and maintaining the Public View Monitor.
• Supervise front‑end operations: train and coach associates on cash registers, shortage control, and other procedures, manage line flow, and ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and compliance of fitting rooms, ensuring all garments and tags are accounted for.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including cash pulls, bank deposits, payroll administration, and front‑end control.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale equipment and applications.
• Basic mathematical proficiency for retail calculations.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

• Use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
• Spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
• Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop; occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs.
• Perform assigned duties such as moving stock, operating janitorial equipment, and handling additional lifts as required.

• Base pay range: $18.00 – $18.50 per hour.
