OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
Responsibilities- Build rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Local Food handlers permit may be required. - Physical Demands:
Stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle tasks overhead up to 65 inches; push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart; prepare food and beverages using required appliances; contact cleaning supplies. - Language
Skills:
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
