Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrols in Concord, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security‑related incidents and fostering a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and customer service skills will be key in building trust while responding to situations with professionalism.

What You’ll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies in a healthcare environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
- Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits to deter unauthorized entry.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security‑related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
- Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and/or other urgent healthcare‑related situations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports as required by site‑specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
- Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as needed in a hospital environment.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants with criminal histories will be considered per applicable laws.
- Drug screening will be conducted as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
