• Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, assisting in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the healthcare facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to avoid unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with staff and visitors to address questions and provide directions or assistance as needed within the healthcare location.
• Assist with access control procedures and visitor management in accordance with location guidelines.

• Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as part of their job duties.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
