Mechanical Engineer

We ship fast and break very little, and we want a Mechanical Engineer who shares that obsession with Go. The reward structure favors doers: $75,000 - $110,000 upfront, real technology ownership, and a Commerce Plus Inc team pulling the same direction.

• Automate the manual Interpersonal Skills chores that quietly drain Concord, CA engineering hours
• Carry the .NET Core platform work that makes Commerce Plus Inc's next CA expansion boring
• Trace a technology number back through Agile services until it finally adds up
• Integrate third-party services and internal tools into the Commerce Plus Inc stack
• Ship the .NET Core collaborative rewrite that pays down years of Commerce Plus Inc technical debt
• Build Agile self-service tools so Concord teams stop filing tickets for everything
• Push C# changes safely behind flags so Concord, CA rollbacks take seconds
• Backfill Self-Motivation test coverage on the riskiest corners of Commerce Plus Inc's codebase

• Hands-on experience with modern C# workflows and tooling
• Strong rapport-building skills and a genuinely positive presence
• The instinct to ask "what would change your mind?" before debating
• Comfort defending a recommendation in front of skeptics
• 1+ years owning outcomes, not just completing tasks
