Infant​/Toddler Teacher

The Children’s Meetinghouse is seeking an Infant/ Toddler candidate to join our team. We believe that imagination, wonder, discovery and delight serve as the cornerstones of teaching and learning. We place priority on honoring children in their capability and we follow a play-based/nature-based, Reggio Emilia inspired approach.

Along with collaborating on a teaching team, job requirements include participating in all duties related to the education and care of young children. Preferred applicants have a passion to work with children in a group setting, joy in inquiry based projects, and interest in making learning visible through documentation.

Applicants must be teacher certified by the Department of Early Education and Care or working their way to it. Working on a degree in early childhood education or related field, as well as interest in an experience in a classroom setting. Competitive hourly pay for closing shift (up to $29.00/hour). The Children’s Meetinghouse follows a 10-month calendar with an opportunity to join us for a 5 week Summer program.

Our teacher to child ratio is very generous and we are using our large playground spaces for lots of outdoor explorations. Shifts are flexible, afternoon hours starting as soon as possible.
