Regional Manager

Overview

The Regional Manager is an accounting role responsible for completing regulatory filings, preparing financial statements for each client, database management, and general oversight of all clients' accounts.

• Complete regulatory filings and prepare financial statements for each client.
• Manage databases and maintain accurate client accounts.
• Review and update insurance documentation.
• Handle client cash and investment portfolios.
• Maintain corporate records and statutory registers.
• Produce quarterly management accounts, cash management, debtors control, and invoice production.
• Address corporate secretarial issues as required.
• Provide reports required by the Company and make appropriate recommendations.
• Support day‑to‑day operations of the company and client affairs.
• Respond promptly to client and inter‑office requests.
• Assist Directors and other staff with additional duties.
• Preserve integrity of client information and apply SRS policies and procedures.
• Advance knowledge through guidance and training.
• Handle annual audits for the captives.
• Assist with board meetings, compile board book material, and take minutes.
• Manage client portfolio to ensure deadline compliance and improve fee realization.
• Operate cash function for the captives and load online banking payments.
• Attend board meetings, regulatory conferences, and build client relations.
• Be available for urgent client matters during US business hours.
• Participate in business development with new start‑ups and take‑over captives.
• Develop local relationships through networking and conference attendance.
• Focus on central time zone clients accessible from Houston and lead regional client relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in accounting or related field.
• At least 3 years of financial accounting experience focusing on captive insurance.

• Expert knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and company financial policies.
• Self‑driven, effective in team or individually assigned tasks in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Superior attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent client service and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of captive insurance companies and laws related to western US domiciles.

$90,000 to $115,000 per year.
