Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care ICU assignment requiring an active MA RN license, ICU experience, and night shift availability.
Responsibilities- Work in the Critical Care Unit of a hospital setting
- Direct care for critically ill adult patients
- Night shifts are required, working 12 hours from 7pm to 7am
- Three shifts per week, totaling 36 hours
- Required to work every other holiday and every third weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- Meditech EMR is used and experience is required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local travelers accepted at a reduced rate
- Patient care focuses on complex, acute conditions in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Required to provide high-level critical care with minimal supervision
- Every other holiday and every third weekend coverage is expected
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR is required
