Position: Marketing and Sales Consultant
Reports To: Director of Sales and Marketing
The Marketing and Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding prospective residents through the entire sales process—from initial contact to move‑in and beyond. This role involves consistent outreach to prospective leads and referral sources, building relationships within the greater community, and assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing in achieving occupancy goals. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
Key Responsibilities- Contact prospective residents weekly to schedule appointments, answer questions, and move leads through the sales process.
- Provide support for walk‑in visitors, offering tours and addressing inquiries.
- Actively represent the community in the greater area to establish and strengthen referral relationships.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
- Maintain an organized inventory of marketing materials and information packets.
- Input new leads and update lead records daily with comments and activities.
- Assist with collecting required paperwork from depositors.
- Support the closing and move‑in process for new residents, including communication with key departmental contacts.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement marketing and community events.
- Prepare presentations, special reports, and correspondence as needed.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive market and identify opportunities for growth.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years in a marketing or sales role.
- Experience in senior living is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, self‑motivation, and diplomacy.
- Clear, professional, and courteous communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff across departments.
- High energy level and self‑starter mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, databases, and other software applications.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as copiers, computers, phones, and fax machines.
- Knowledge of online services and internet tools preferred.
