As a nurse in our Observation Telemetry unit, you will:

• Utilize the nursing process to provide top-notch patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with various departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

For RNs:

• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current RN license in the State of Missouri.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association.

For LPNs:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of LPN experience preferred.
• Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; must maintain a current LPN license.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
  • LPN-IV Certification must be completed within 3 months of hire.

This role requires:

• The ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Physical agility to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
