As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Gig Nursing Program, you'll have the opportunity to provide exceptional care across various Mercy Hospital facilities, adapting your schedule to fit your lifestyle.

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Deliver bedside care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Work in diverse departments including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and collaborate with healthcare providers.

Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float

Shift: Various Shifts Available

• $30/hour + Variable Shift Incentive
• W-2 Employee Status
• Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days
• Maximum of 30 hours a week (Sun-Sat)
• Flexible shift options: 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts

Required

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; must maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state.

Experience:

• One year of recent bedside LPN experience for Med-Surg.
• Two years of recent bedside LPN experience for other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.).

Certifications:

• BLS for Med-Surg.
• BLS, ACLS for Critical Care.
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS for Emergency Department.
• IV certification required.

Preferred Experience: Epic experience.

This position requires the ability to:

• Push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods each shift.
• Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
