Incentives

• $40/hour + Variable Shift Incentive

• W-2 Employee status

• Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days

• Maximum of 30 hours a week (Sun-Sat)

• Choose from 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts

Overview of Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Mercy, you will:

• Utilize the nursing process to provide top-notch patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for your assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with various departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform duties in alignment with our mission and values.

• Behavioral Health (BH)
• Emergency Department (ED)
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Medical-Surgical (MS)
• Women's Health (L&D, M&B)

• Mercy Jefferson - Festus, MO
• Mercy South - South St. Louis County, MO
• Mercy Washington - Washington, MO
• Mercy Lincoln - Troy, MO
• Mercy Perry - Perryville, MO
• Mercy Southeast - Cape Girardeau, MO
• Mercy Stoddard - Dexter, MO

Qualifications

Required

Education:

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

Preferred Education: BSN.

Licensure: Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.

Experience:

• One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg.
• Two years of recent specialty-specific bedside RN experience for other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.).

Certifications:

• BLS for Med Surg, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health.
• BLS, ACLS for Critical Care.
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS for Emergency Department.

Physical Requirements

This position requires:

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
