Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients. Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs and recovery status, administer medications, and manage wounds and drains. Deliver patient and family education to support safe recovery.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe care, effective communication, and high-quality outcomes.

• Conduct pre- and post-operative nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and coordinate care needs
• Manage wound care and drain care per clinical guidelines
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Work collaboratively with surgical and anesthesia teams and other disciplines
• Participate in clinical initiatives and evidence-based practice improvements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
• Proficiency with perioperative nursing processes and medication administration
• Effective communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient-centered care
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
