Position Summary

Under close supervision of management, the Member Service Representative I focuses on identifying member needs and enriching members’ lives. The role includes routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments while proactively offering additional products and services. The Member Service Representative I initiates high‑quality conversations to deepen member relationships and refers members for account opening, lending, and other cross‑sell opportunities as appropriate.

This role is the single point of contact responsible for developing and maintaining member relationships.

Location: Concord, NH

Pay: $19/hr + incentives

Hours: Full‑time

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently process deposits, payments, withdrawals, cash checks, wires, fraud packets, etc. in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Balance cash drawer/TCR and manage all transactions with accuracy, courtesy, privacy, and security.
  • Fulfill members’ requests by providing outstanding services and problem resolution focusing on matching member needs to applicable products and services.
  • Initiate conversations with members to deepen relationships and refer them for account opening, lending, and other cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Perform all operational and procedural tasks associated with the role and assist branch staff with audits or other operational functions.
  • Follow and adhere to the Credit Union’s attendance and punctuality policy.
Job Specifications
  • Effective communicator who engages members and builds relationships regarding products and services.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate close attention to detail.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Frequent interactions with the public.
Education, Training & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of similar related experience as a teller, cashier, or in a member/customer service role.
Work Arrangement

Fully onsite. No alternative working arrangement is available.
