Talent Pool for Adjunct Faculty – Nursing Department - Clinical

Position Type:
Part-time, clinical adjunct
Compensation: $825 - $975 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Location: NHTI—Concord’s Community College, Concord, NH

Overview:

NHTI’s Nursing Department is building a pool of qualified adjunct faculty candidates across various disciplines to fulfill future instructional needs. Joining this pool offers an opportunity to teach courses that provide students with essential knowledge in areas such as nursing and other Allied Health fields, with an emphasis on practical applications and real-world relevance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Baccalaureate in nursing, having met generalist requirements for a BSN or MS degree.
  • Experience:
    Three years of teaching preferred and clinical experience in the area of anticipated teaching assignment.
  • License/Certification:
    Current license as RN in the State of NH. Employment is contingent on receipt of NH Board of Nursing approval.
  • Residency:
    Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery:
    Provide clinical instruction and supervision using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
  • Student Engagement:
    Foster active learning through clinical assignments, discussions, and assessments.
  • Assessment & Feedback:
    Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Professional Development:
    Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional and clinical site policies and guidelines.
