Talent Pool for Adjunct Faculty - Information Technology

Position Type:
Part-time, adjunct
Compensation: $800 - $950 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Location: NHTI, Concord’s Community College in Concord, NH

Overview:

NHTI, Concord’s Community College is building a pool of qualified adjunct faculty candidates for its Information Technology department to fulfill future instructional needs. Joining this pool offers an opportunity to teach courses that provide students with essential knowledge in areas such as Programming, Networking, Database, Cybersecurity and Application Development, with an emphasis on practical applications and real-world relevance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree/ postsecondary degree from a recognized college or university.
  • Experience:
    Teaching experience is preferred but not required for candidates with excellent education credentials and professional experience.
  • Residency:
    Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery:
    Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
  • Student Engagement:
    Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
  • Assessment & Feedback:
    Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Professional Development:
    Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
