• Delivery of infrastructure projects from conception through final design
• Research code requirements and ensures feasibility of design solutions
• Follows and manages project budget, work plan, consultants, and schedule
• Communicates with Project Team and Clients
• Creates design solutions to meet all necessary design requirements and specifications
• Performs calculations using Excel and/or Math Cad
• Generates hydraulic calculations for stormwater design
• Creates and proposes scope and fee
• Maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Team
• Facilitates communication through meetings, minutes, and up-date memos to Project Team
• Ensures projects are in compliance with the office standards
• Coordinates work efforts while ensuring that the team remains on schedule and budget
• Construction administration including processing of submittals, RFI’s, and other project documentation
• Contributes to office leadership including professional development coaching and mentoring staff

• Minimum 8-12 years of highway design experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer registration
• Experience in Auto Cad / Civil 3D / Micro Station / In Roads
• A thorough understanding of drawings, details, and specifications
• Technical experience in document coordination and implementation
• Management experience integrating engineering and owner consultant teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Careful attention to detail and accuracy
