Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical leadership to talented multidisciplinary teams treating a chronically mentally ill population. This is primarily a direct clinical care position with some administrative duties in the outpatient setting. This provider will see routine follow-up patients for medication and mental health assessment, as well as provide for initial and updated psychiatric evaluations.

You will work closely with psychiatrists, APRNs, and nursing staff Monday through Friday, with the weekends and holidays off.

Requirements:

NH psychiatric APRN certification and prescriptive authority

3 years of experience with a strong psychiatric background

Forensic background is desirable

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with community health providers.
