Overview
Seeking volunteers to facilitate Reconnection Workshop modules for military members, veterans, and their families in various community-based settings.
Are you a mental health professional with a desire to work with the military population? This could be a meaningful way to give back to your community.
- Provide Reconnection Workshops for military members, veterans, and their families
- Identify opportunities for presentations and help plan meeting logistics
- Perform duties within the scope of licensure and training
- Stay up-to-date on mental health research and practices for military, veterans and their families
- Available to mentor and co-teach training with new Reconnection Workshop facilitators
- Leverage personal or professional experience working with the military (a plus)
- Official status as a mental health professional with a current, unencumbered license
The American Red Cross, through its network of volunteers, donors and partners, provides care, shelter and hope in times of disaster and supports readiness for emergencies. The local Red Cross office seeks volunteers to support Reconnection Workshop programs for the military community.
