About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Progressive Care Unit RN – New HampshireStart Date: November 2, 2026

Schedule: 13-week assignment, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday coverage requiredHighlights:

  • Progressive Care / Medical-Surgical unit with 6:1 patient ratios supported by LNAs, Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor
  • EPIC EMR system in use
  • Charge nurse responsibilities included in this role
  • 13-week contract with holiday multiplier at 1.25% and $3/hour charge differential
  • Collaborative care environment focused on implementing nursing standards and individualized patient care planning
  • Limited requested time off considered (maximum 5 days, must be submitted upfront)
Requirements:
  • Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license
  • 3+ years current Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
  • 2+ years Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown experience required
  • Charge nurse experience required
  • EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification (current)
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification (current)
  • Current Medical-Surgical skills checklist (within 1 year)
  • Current Stepdown/PCU skills checklist (within 1 year)
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
  • Reliable personal transportation required
