A&P Mechanic

JBI, a distinguished Bell Helicopter Customer Service Facility with Parts 91, 133, 135, 137, and 145 Repair Station Authorizations, is committed to excellence through maintaining a well-supported fleet of Bell 206, 407, 429, and OH-58 helicopters. Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on helicopters according to manufacturer specifications and FAA regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Ensure safety standards are met during all maintenance activities.
• Work flexible hours and be available for overtime and overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications:

• FAA A&P Mechanic Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a helicopter mechanic.
• Experience with Bell 206, 407, 429, and MD500 series aircraft is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work additional hours and travel occasionally.
• Clear criminal background check and drug screening.
