Construction Material Testing seeks a Certified Welding Inspector II with authority to accept/reject welds on structural steel, pipe, and fabricated assemblies, inspecting to AWS D1.1, D1.5, D1.8, ASME IX, or API 1104 as required.
Duties include performing and signing visual weld inspections, reviewing WPS/PQR, witnessing welder tests, directing NDT, and writing inspection and nonconformance reports for the engineer of record and building official.
