Benchmark Senior Living is looking for a compassionate Van Driver & Programming Assistant to join our team. The Van Driver is responsible for providing transportation for community residents and assists in planning, coordinating, and implementing activities requiring van transportation.

• Maintain vehicles according to warranty requirements and the internal maintenance plan to ensure safe, working order.
• Act as an Activity Assistant when on excursions; always stay with the group except when parking the van.
• Transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips.
• Monitor resident activity and alert staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety.

• Education – high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrate interest in the elderly and knowledge of servicing their needs.
• Have experience in activities/recreational programming.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
