Part Time Assistant Scheduling Coordinator – Non‑Medical In‑Home Care

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday work week. $1000 sign‑on bonus per requirements. Home Instead is the leading non‑medical in‑home care agency, serving Rowan and Cabarrus Counties. Our Concord office needs an experienced Assistant Scheduling Coordinator.

As a scheduler you will be responsible for scheduling our clients and caregivers, assisting with hiring, handling on‑call emergencies outside business hours, and general office work. This is not a remote position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in scheduling clients’ and caregivers’ schedules
  • Assist with hiring of caregivers
  • Respond to caregiver’s call‑outs and schedule cases immediately
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and caregiver scheduling activities
  • Provide on‑call support outside business hours
  • Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, and families
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and communicate them to the team
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
  • At least 1 year of scheduling or related business experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to listen effectively
  • Patience and congeniality while on the phone with caregivers and clients
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines
  • Discretion, integrity, and fair‑mindedness in line with company standards and policies
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional office setting
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license
