Your RoleAs an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you will:
- Utilize your skills to diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring our guests receive top-notch service.
- Gain valuable experience working on a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding guest concerns.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and achieve outstanding results.
If you have the following qualifications, we want to hear from you:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve customers.
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Current ASE Certifications preferred;
Master and L1 are a plus (or a plan to achieve them). - NC State Inspector License preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Strong experience with both domestic and import vehicles.
- A drive to flag 40-50+ hours per week.
- Knowledge of reflashing/reprogramming processes and vehicle systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems.
- Diesel experience is helpful but not required.
- Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
- A professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A desire for long-term career development.
- A valid North Carolina driver’s license.
In this role, you should be able to:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Navigate tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Demonstrate dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Stand or walk for the majority of your workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
