Avis is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Rental Service Agent to join our team in Concord, NC! In this fast-paced role, you'll be the face of Avis — helping customers get on the road quickly and with a smile. • Greet and assist customers throughout the vehicle rental process from check-out to return
• Process rental agreements, payments, and reservations accurately using rental management systems
• Upsell vehicle upgrades, insurance coverage, and additional rental services
• Inspect vehicles for damage and ensure fleet readiness before customer pickup
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Coordinate with lot staff to ensure vehicle availability and proper staging
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to Avis policies and procedures

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn rental software systems
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
