Psychiatrist With Child/Adolescent Experience - Crisis Services

Monarch is seeking a Psychiatrist with child and adolescent experience to join the brand-new Stephen M. Morris Behavioral Health Center, opening June 2026 in Concord, NC (Cabarrus County, just north of Charlotte).

About the Facility
  • State‑of‑the‑art, 60,000 sq. ft. facility
  • 24‑bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF)
  • 16‑bed Facility‑Based Crisis (FBC) program
  • Behavioral Health Urgent Care for children/adolescents and adults
  • 24‑hour Tier 4 with 72 patient capacity
  • Onsite pharmacy and learning kitchen
Schedule & Location
  • Full‑time or Part‑time options
  • 20 hours/week with PRTF and 20 hours/week with FBC
  • Preferred onsite during launch; hybrid once established
Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents in crisis scenarios.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist
  • Experience treating children/adolescents required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Retirement plan with employer match

Preferred
  • General Psychiatrist or Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist with youth treatment experience
  • Additional training in Addiction Medicine
