Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. The Physician will provide diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic services related to urological conditions, while also contributing to administrative responsibilities, performance improvement, and educational programs. This role requires strong clinical acumen, commitment to excellence, and collaborative communication within multidisciplinary teams.

Duties And Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:

  • Attend staff meetings and maintain effective communication within the healthcare team
  • Prepare briefings and documentation for adverse patient outcomes or incidents
  • Maintain accurate and timely CPRS documentation and manage open encounters/consults
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, performance measures, productivity assessments, and safety oversight
  • Support process improvement initiatives and systems redesign for better clinic efficiency
Clinical Duties

  • Deliver compassionate and appropriate patient care across all stages including health promotion, disease prevention, treatment, and end-of-life care
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of clinical, biomedical, and social sciences to patient care
  • Stay current with medical advancements and implement evidence-based practices
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Demonstrate commitment to professional development, ethical conduct, and diversity awareness
  • Understand the healthcare system and advocate for improvements in care delivery and patient outcomes
Educational Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the teaching and mentoring of medical trainees
  • Monitor educational activities and ensure proper supervision of residents and fellows
  • Support academic contributions and learning initiatives within the department
Primary Skills

  • Expertise in urological diagnosis and procedures
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as CPRS
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and patient safety protocols
Secondary Skills (Good To Have)

  • Involvement in process improvement and system redesign initiatives
  • Experience with supervising or teaching residents/fellows
  • Familiarity with telehealth or hybrid healthcare delivery models
Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (ABU preferred)
  • Unrestricted medical license in the United States
  • Active DEA registration
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in urology
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare
