Job Summary
The Elementary School Counselor at Brentwood School District implements the Missouri Model Guidance Program, providing support to the instructional process and assisting students to develop life skills, improve academic achievement, and receive individual and group counseling. The counselor also provides crisis support and collaborates with community agencies, parents, teachers, support staff, and the broader community.

Qualifications- Master’s degree in an applicable field of study/education from an accredited college or university.
- Experience working with a diverse population of children is preferred.
- Valid Missouri Counseling Certificate (required).
Certified – Full‑time, 189‑day contract + 5‑day extended contract (one‑year‑only).
SalaryAnnual salary starting at $46,507, commensurate with experience and certification.
