Principal Civil Engineer

Webuild () is currently seeking a highly qualified Civil Engineer to take on a leadership role of directing project design services for a portfolio of commercial, residential, and mixed‑use development projects throughout the North / South Carolina marketplaces.

Our ideal candidate for this role would have a minimum of 8 years of experience specializing in the design of land development projects. This experience should encompass a diverse skill set that includes proficiency in site layout, grading, balancing earthwork, erosion control, storm drainage, detention, water quality, and utilities. You should be well‑versed in developing both conceptual and final CAD designs, and possess the ability to effectively coordinate with project management teams, city agencies, and consultants to secure the necessary project approvals.

As the Civil Engineer you will be entrusted with overseeing all civil design activities associated with a portfolio of land development projects within the marketplace. Your role will encompass the provision of CAD technical design, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently within the specified budgetary and timeline constraints.

Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in the state of North Carolina is required. Proficiency in Civil 3D is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong staff leadership abilities, are key attributes that we are seeking.
