Weekdays. This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Based on eligibility.

Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist. Coordinates daily activities including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedures on requisitions submitted by physicians.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by individual procedure demands and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. Handles equipment and supplies. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary. May frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel. Must be able to use hands for power gripping, speed work, and precision. Vision and hearing for distances up to 10 feet are necessary. May be exposed to various physical conditions such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, and being near moving equipment.

Able to adapt to temperature and humidity changes.

Requires successful completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA-approved facility, ARRT registration, and BLS HCP from AHA. New graduates must be registry eligible with completion within 1 year of hire.
