• Supervise three Senior Companion Program Coordinators and one Operations Assistant, and assist with volunteer supervision when necessary.
• Build and maintain relationships with public, nonprofit, and private sector agencies to enhance program effectiveness.
• Oversee the maintenance of personnel, program, and companion records to meet federal regulations for the Senior Companion Program grant.
• Prepare and issue reports and grants to accommodate the administrative and program needs for all funding sources.
• Routinely interact with a vulnerable population to assess how their needs are being met through this program.
• Oversee federal formulas and ensure implementation of procedures for recruitment, selection, and placement of companions and enrollees with New Hampshire.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services or a related field.
• Experience: Three years in human service administration or volunteer program management.
• Experience in gerontology and grant writing is helpful.
• Experience in personnel and volunteer supervision and advisory groups.
• Ability to communicate effectively and analyze problems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn tracking software.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with older adults and their families.
• Ability to oversee staff coordinating diverse activities and programs.
• Budget and financial management experience.

Required background checks:
New Hampshire Department of Safety criminal record check, Bureau of Elder and Adult Services background check, and federal background checks. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required, as travel within the state may be necessary.
